Mercedes E-Class W213 door lights (from 2016)
On the E-Class W213 the door lamps belong to the ambient lighting, not to a separate light package. Mercedes lists its logo projector for the saloon and the estate only with code 891, premium ambient lighting, and excludes cars with code P76, the standard interior equipment. If your car qualifies, the rear doors do too: Mercedes allows them under the same conditions as the front.

Door lights for Mercedes-Benz
What your car needs
The projector takes the place of the exit light in the door. For the W213 and S213 Mercedes sets two conditions for its own projector (A 247 820 74 03):
- code 891, premium ambient lighting, is present;
- code P76, standard interior equipment, is not.
A second Mercedes parts page for the same series names code 877 (Ambiente Beleuchtung, ambient lighting) instead of 891 and leaves out cars with code 808. A third page additionally excludes code E72, the surround lighting that projects the brand logo. If your data card shows 891 or 877, look at your doors: the lamp itself is the deciding proof.

2 or 4 lights?
This is one of the Mercedes models where a set of 4 is realistic: Mercedes states that fitting in the rear doors is also possible. Check that all four doors light up, then choose.
Only the front doors lit? Then the set of 2.
Frequently asked questions
My data card says 877, not 891. Which one counts?
Mercedes's own parts pages are not uniform here: one names 891, another 877 for the same W213 and S213. Whichever you have, confirm it at the door.
What does code P76 mean?
Mercedes names it Serienausstattung Interieur: the standard interior equipment. Its projector is not listed for cars with that code.
Do the rear doors really qualify?
According to Mercedes, yes: fitting in the rear doors is possible, with the same restrictions as the front doors. That makes the W213 different from the smaller models, where only the front doors are named.
