Mercedes EQA and EQB door lights (from 2021)
The EQA and the EQB are electric, but for door lights Mercedes looks at something else: the series and the equipment. In its parts data the EQA (H243) and the EQB (X243) sit in the same line as the GLA and the A-Class: the logo projector only in combination with code U62, the Light and Sight package. The drivetrain plays no part in that list.

Door lights for Mercedes-Benz
What your car needs
A logo set goes in the place of the exit light in the front door. Mercedes lists the EQA and EQB with code U62 and writes on the page of its installation kit (A 247 820 87 02) that the projector can only be fitted to cars that have this door exit lighting.
That same page excludes two things: the logo projection in the exterior mirror (code 587) and AMG models. For both series Mercedes also lists an adapter (A 247 820 76 03) that, in its own words, prevents the projector from flickering.
U62 is on the data card of the car. No card at hand? Open a front door after dark: a small lit lens in the bottom edge of the door panel is the lamp you need.
2 or 4 lights?
Set of 2 for the front doors. Mercedes does not name the rear doors for the EQA or the EQB.
Is there nevertheless a factory lamp in your rear doors? Then send us a photo before you order a set of 4.
Frequently asked questions
Does an electric car have different lamps in its doors?
Mercedes's parts list does not make that distinction. The EQA and EQB are listed by series, H243 and X243, and by code U62, just like the combustion models in the same line.
What is the difference between the EQA and the EQB for door lights?
According to the parts data, only the dates: the EQA is listed from 02/2021, the EQB from 11/2021. The condition, code U62, is the same.
Will I get a warning on the dashboard after fitting?
No. Our projectors are CAN-bus proof; you will not get a message on your dashboard.
