Mercedes E-Class Coupé C238 door lights (from 2017)
The two-door E-Class has its own entry in Mercedes's parts data. For the Coupé (C238) and the Cabriolet (A238) the logo projector is listed only with code 891, ambient lighting, and it is a different part from the one for the four-door E-Class. Two long doors, so two lamps: this car is always a matter of one pair.

What your car needs
For the C238 and A238 Mercedes lists its projector under part number A 217 820 67 00 and only with code 891 (ambient lighting). The E-Class saloon and estate are listed with another part. So do not assume that what fits a W213 also fits the Coupé.
The projector replaces the exit light in the bottom of the door. If your car has 891 on the data card, that lamp should be there; you see it light up when the door opens.
Mercedes uses a different projector here than for the saloon and fits it with an extra adapter (A 118 820 21 00), which according to Mercedes stops the projector from flickering. So compare your lamp with our connector photos before ordering, or send us a photo of the back of your lamp.

I have an E-Class saloon. Is this the right page?
No. The saloon (W213) and estate (S213) have their own conditions: code 891 without P76, and the rear doors can be included. See the W213 page.
Does the 2020 update change anything for the Coupé?
No. Mercedes lists the C238 and A238 built from 09/2020 with the same condition, code 891.
How do I check code 891?
It is on the data card with the equipment codes of your car. Any Mercedes-Benz dealer can look it up by VIN.
