Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupé X290 door lights (from 2018)
For the four-door AMG GT, Mercedes lists its logo projector with two notes. The first it shares with the CLS and the E-Class Coupé: an additional adapter belongs with it. The second is the X290's alone: not in combination with code 588, the AMG Lichtinszenierung. Mercedes names no equipment code that you do need.

What your car needs
The projector replaces the exit light in the front door. Mercedes lists its projector for the X290 under A 217 820 67 00 and writes that fitting additionally requires adapters (A 118 820 21 00), which according to Mercedes prevent the projector from flickering.
One code rules the car out for Mercedes: 588, which it calls AMG Lichtinszenierung. You find it, or not, on the data card of the car.
No required code means no certainty on paper. Open a front door after dark and see whether a lamp in the door panel lights the ground, then compare that lamp with our connector photos.

Set of 2, for the front doors. Unlike for the CLS in the same list, Mercedes does not name the rear doors for the X290.

What is code 588?
Mercedes calls it AMG Lichtinszenierung. The parts page explains no more than that; if the code is on your data card, Mercedes does not list its projector for your car.
Can I also do the rear doors?
For the X290 Mercedes does not name the rear doors; for the CLS in the same list it does. If your rear doors do light up, send us a photo before you order.
Does this also apply to the two-door AMG GT?
No. The list names the X290, the four-door car. For the two-door AMG GT we have no manufacturer data.
