Mercedes CLA C118 door lights (from 2019)
For the second CLA, Mercedes attaches two notes to its logo projector. The first is familiar from the other compact models: only in combination with code U62, the Light and Sight package. The second is specific: fitting it requires an additional adapter. Both apply to the Coupé (C118) and the Shooting Brake (X118), and only the front doors are named.

What your car needs
Start with code U62. Without the Light and Sight package Mercedes does not list a projector for the C118 or X118 at all. That points to a front door without an exit light.
Then look at the lamp itself. Mercedes fits its own projector (A 217 820 67 00) to this CLA only with an extra adapter (A 118 820 21 00). According to Mercedes, that adapter stops the projector from flickering.
Before ordering for a C118 or X118: lever the lamp out, take a photo of the back and compare it with our connector photos, or send it to us through the contact page.

Set of 2, for the front doors. Mercedes does not name the rear doors of the CLA, Coupé or Shooting Brake.

Why does Mercedes mention an adapter for the CLA?
Its parts page says that fitting the projector on the C118 and X118 additionally requires an adapter. According to Mercedes, the adapter stops the projector from flickering. For us it is the reason to ask for a photo of your lamp first.
Does this page also cover the first CLA, the C117?
No. This page is based on Mercedes's data for the C118 and X118, built from 2019. For the C117 we have no manufacturer data, so send us a photo of the lamp in your door.
Where do I find code U62?
On the data card with all equipment codes of your car. A Mercedes-Benz dealer can print it from the VIN.
