Audi Q8 door lights (from 2018)
The Q8 has the shortest rule in Audi's whole list: the logo projector can be fitted from production week 24 of 2018. No QQ code, no exception for a sound system. That makes Audi's general condition all the more important here: the projector is only suitable for cars that have LED entry lamps from the factory. With the Q8 you do not check a code, you check the doors.

What your car needs
A logo set takes the place of the factory LED entry lamp in the bottom of the door. For the Q8 with type code 4MN, Audi lists its own projector (part 4G0 052 133 G) from production week 24 of 2018 and names no equipment code to recognise the lamp by.
What remains is looking. Open all four doors in the dark and see where light falls on the ground. Those are the doors a set can go into.
A Q8 is tall. Crouch beside the open door: the lamp is a small clear lens in the underside of the panel.

Frequently asked questions
Does this also apply to the Q7?
No. The list names the Q8 with type code 4MN. The Q7 is not in it, so from this source we cannot say anything about it. For a Q7, send us a photo of the lamp in your door.
Why does Audi give a build week and not a code?
Audi does not explain it. The Q8 came to market in 2018, so the week lies at the very start of its production run.
Does this also apply to the SQ8 and RS Q8?
The list names type code 4MN and makes no separate remark about the SQ8 or RS Q8. As with every Q8: the lamp in your own door decides.
