Audi Q3 F3 door lights (2019–2024)

For the second Q3, Audi uses the same line in its accessory data as for the A4 and A5: the logo projector goes with code QQ1 or QQ2, front and rear, and from production week 32 of 2019 QQ1 only counts for the front doors. The Q3 F3 reached the market at the end of 2018, shortly before that change. For most of its production run the later rule therefore applies: QQ1 means two doors, QQ2 means four.

Which Q3 F3 do you have?

  • Q3 F3, built up to week 32/2019 F3

    until mid-2019

QQ1 or QQ2: lamps front and rear.

  • Q3 F3, built from week 32/2019 F3

    mid-2019 – 2024

QQ1: front doors only. QQ2: front and rear.

Door lights for Audi

What your car needs

Audi door-entry light housing seen from the back, with its single connector
The Audi version: a single connector at the back. Compare it with the lamp in your door.

What a logo set needs is the factory LED entry lamp in the bottom of the door. Audi lists its own projector (part 4G0 052 133 G) for the Q3 with type code F3B only together with QQ1 or QQ2.

In the same list Audi writes that whether the projector can be fitted varies by model and equipment, and advises having it checked by an Audi partner. That is why we give you the codes and not a promise: the lamp in your door decides.

A Q3 sits high. Crouch beside the open door and look at the underside of the door panel: the lamp is a small clear lens.

2 or 4 lights?

QQ2: set of 4. QQ1, built from week 32/2019: set of 2. QQ1, built before that: set of 4, if all four doors do light up.

Frequently asked questions

Does this also apply to the Q3 Sportback?
Audi's list names type code F3B only. Look at the type code on your vehicle data sticker: if yours starts differently, the list does not cover your car and we would like to see a photo of your lamp first.
I have QQ1 and there is still a lamp in the rear doors. Is that possible?
On a Q3 built before week 32 of 2019 it is: according to Audi, QQ1 then covered front and rear. Order for the doors where you actually see light.
Why does Audi advise having the fitment checked?
Because, in Audi's own words, it varies by model and equipment. A code on the sticker is a strong indication, but the lamp that is really in your door is the proof.
