Audi A6 door-entry lights

For the Audi A6, Audi lists its logo projector for two generations. On the C8 (2019–2025) the front doors are covered by QQ0, QQ1 or QQ2, and the rear doors only by QQ1 or QQ2. On the C7 (2011–2018) it is QQ1 or QQ2, front and rear. Both share one exception: with the Bang & Olufsen system that carries code 8RF, Audi no longer names the rear doors. For the A6 before 2011 and the newest A6 we have no manufacturer data.

Door lights for Audi

What your car needs

Audi door-entry light housing seen from the back, with its single connector
The Audi version: a single connector at the back. Enter your model and year when you order and we send the right version.

The projector clicks into the existing courtesy lamp at the bottom of your door. If your car has no lamp there from the factory, there is no connector to plug into.

Body style and trim level make no difference to the connection: what matters is the lamp in the door.

Audi uses two types of connector under the door: a narrow one for the LED version and a wider one for the older halogen version. You don't need to check which one you have: enter your model and year when you order and we send the right version. How to replace the lamp →

The option codes on this page are the manufacturer's rules for its own original projector.

2 or 4 lights?

Set of 2 = front doors, set of 4 = all four.

Frequently asked questions

What is 8RF, and why does it matter?
8RF is an equipment code for a Bang & Olufsen sound system. For the A6 C7 and C8, Audi's list says the logo projector cannot be fitted in the rear doors of cars with that code. The list gives no reason.
Which A6 do I have, C7 or C8?
The C8 has two touchscreens in the centre console; the C7 has analogue dials. On paper it is the type code: 4G for the C7, 4A for the C8. Each has its own page with the full rule.
