Ambient lighting for your Peugeot: wireless, in 2 minutes

Give your Peugeot a soft, premium glow at night, without wiring or a dealer visit. On recent Peugeots, multi-colour ambient lighting is mostly found on the GT versions, while other versions have none or only a simpler glow in one colour, so whether your car has it depends on model, year and trim. If yours has none, or you want more colours and more zones, wireless RGB LED lights add it in about two minutes. View the wireless ambient lighting.

  • No wiring, no modifications: nothing is connected to your Peugeot's electrics.
  • 8 RGB colours and several lighting modes, switched with the included remote.
  • USB-C rechargeable: every light has its own battery.
  • Set of 2 or 4: light one zone, or the footwells and doors together.
  • Fits virtually any Peugeot, whatever its model or age.

1. Does your Peugeot have factory ambient lighting?

What we could verify in Peugeot price lists and specification guides (equipment differs per country and model year):

  • 208: the Belgian price list valid from July 2026 lists interior ambient lighting in 8 colours, linked to the drive modes, as standard on the GT. It is not listed for the Style, Business and Allure.
  • 2008: the Belgian price list of July 2025 lists ambient lighting in eight colours as standard on the GT. It is not listed for the Style, Business and Allure.
  • 3008 (previous generation): Peugeot UK's price and specification guide of April 2024 lists blue ambient lighting for the central console area on every version, footwell lighting from the Allure up, and blue ambient lighting in the front doors and at the central cupholders on the GT.
  • New 3008: Peugeot New Zealand's guide of June 2025 for the new 3008 with Panoramic i-Cockpit lists configurable ambient lighting in 8 colours among its interior features.

Not sure what your Peugeot has? A Peugeot dealer can look up its factory equipment from the VIN. Where there is no factory lighting, or only one colour, wireless lights add 8 colours and a glow in places such as the footwells, the rear or around the centre console.

Add the ambient lights to your Peugeot.

2. Where the lights look best in a Peugeot

  • Footwells: under the dashboard edge, pointing at the floor. In the driver's footwell, fit the light high up, well away from the pedals.
  • Door pockets: in or under the door pocket, so the light washes over the door trim.
  • Centre console and cupholders: along the sides of the console or under the edge of the armrest, pointing down.
  • Lower edge of the dashboard: low down and pointing down, so the light falls on the surface instead of towards you.

Rule of thumb: you should see the glow, not the light itself.

Where not to place them:

  • Not on or near airbags: the steering wheel, the passenger side of the dashboard, the seat sides, and the doors and pillars where side and curtain airbags deploy. Your owner's manual shows where they are.
  • Not in your line of sight: not on top of the dashboard, not next to the instrument cluster or the central display, and not where the light reflects in the windscreen or side windows.
  • Not near the pedals, and make sure no light can come loose.

3. Fitting in 2 minutes

  1. Charge: charge the lights via USB-C before first use.
  2. Clean: wipe the spot with a damp cloth, remove grease with a little isopropyl alcohol or a mild interior cleaner, and let it dry completely.
  3. Place: check the position and direction in the dark, then fix the light. On leather or Alcantara, try a hidden spot first.
  4. Switch on: use the remote to switch the lights on and choose a colour and mode.

As with every order, you enter your Peugeot model and year in the order field. If in doubt, you can always send us a photo.

4. Questions from Peugeot drivers

  • Set of 2 or 4 for my Peugeot? A set of 2 is enough for one zone, such as the front footwells or the centre console. A set of 4 adds the doors or the rear for an all-round look.
  • How do I charge them? Via USB-C, the connector most current phones use. Charge them indoors or from a USB port in your Peugeot, only while parked.
  • Will they drain my Peugeot's battery? No. Each light runs on its own rechargeable battery and is not connected to the car.
  • Will they damage the interior? Nothing is drilled or cut and no trim comes off. Fit them on a clean, dry surface and try a hidden spot first on leather or Alcantara.
  • Can I use them while driving? Keep it subtle: cabin light can reflect in the windscreen and affect your night vision. Set a calm, steady colour before you drive off and switch the lights off if they distract you. Rules differ per country, but interior light must never dazzle or distract the driver.
