Ambient lighting for your Opel: wireless, in 2 minutes
Give your Opel a soft, premium glow at night, without wiring or a dealer visit. On recent Opels, factory ambient lighting is mostly found on the GS and Ultimate trims, sometimes only as part of a package or only in a few places, such as the front door pockets, while the Edition versions do not list it. So whether your car has it depends on model, year and trim. If yours has none, or you want a glow in more places, wireless RGB LED lights add it in about two minutes. View the wireless ambient lighting.
- No wiring, no modifications: nothing is connected to your Opel's electrics.
- 8 RGB colours and several lighting modes, switched with the included remote.
- USB-C rechargeable: every light has its own battery.
- Set of 2 or 4: light one zone, or the footwells and doors together.
- Fits virtually any Opel, whatever its model or age.
1. Does your Opel have factory ambient lighting?
What we could verify in Opel price lists (equipment differs per country and model year):
- Corsa: Opel Germany's price list (as of 6 February 2026) lists LED ambient lighting as part of the Infotainment package: optional on the GS and standard on the Ultimate. It is not listed for the Edition and Yes.
- Mokka: Opel Germany's price list (as of 3 February 2026) lists LED ambient lighting in the front door storage compartments as standard on the GS and Ultimate. It is not listed for the Edition.
- New Grandland: Opel Germany's price list of 1 July 2025 lists LED ambient lighting in 7 colours as standard on the GS. It is not listed for the Edition.
Not sure what your Opel has? An Opel dealer can look up its factory equipment from the VIN. Where there is no factory ambient lighting, or you want a glow in extra places, wireless lights add 8 colours in spots such as the doors, the dashboard or around the centre console.

2. Where the lights look best in an Opel
- Footwells: under the dashboard edge, pointing at the floor. In the driver's footwell, fit the light high up, well away from the pedals.
- Door pockets: in or under the door pocket, so the light washes over the door trim.
- Centre console and cupholders: along the sides of the console or under the edge of the armrest, pointing down.
- Lower edge of the dashboard: low down and pointing down, so the light falls on the surface instead of towards you.
Rule of thumb: you should see the glow, not the light itself.
Where not to place them:
- Not on or near airbags: the steering wheel, the passenger side of the dashboard, the seat sides, and the doors and pillars where side and curtain airbags deploy. Your owner's manual shows where they are.
- Not in your line of sight: not on top of the dashboard, not next to the instrument cluster or the central display, and not where the light reflects in the windscreen or side windows.
- Not near the pedals, and make sure no light can come loose.
3. Fitting in 2 minutes
- Charge: charge the lights via USB-C before first use.
- Clean: wipe the spot with a damp cloth, remove grease with a little isopropyl alcohol or a mild interior cleaner, and let it dry completely.
- Place: check the position and direction in the dark, then fix the light. On leather or Alcantara, try a hidden spot first.
- Switch on: use the remote to switch the lights on and choose a colour and mode.
As with every order, you enter your Opel model and year in the order field. If in doubt, you can always send us a photo.
4. Questions from Opel drivers
- Set of 2 or 4 for my Opel? A set of 2 is enough for one zone, such as the front footwells or the centre console. A set of 4 adds the doors or the rear for an all-round look.
- How do I charge them? Via USB-C, the connector most current phones use. Charge them indoors or from a USB port in your Opel, only while parked.
- Will they drain my Opel's battery? No. Each light runs on its own rechargeable battery and is not connected to the car.
- Will they damage the interior? Nothing is drilled or cut and no trim comes off. Fit them on a clean, dry surface and try a hidden spot first on leather or Alcantara.
- Can I use them while driving? Keep it subtle: cabin light can reflect in the windscreen and affect your night vision. Set a calm, steady colour before you drive off and switch the lights off if they distract you. Rules differ per country, but interior light must never dazzle or distract the driver.
