Use the included removal tool to remove the factory door-entry light.
Disconnect the existing light and connect your new RD Customz door-entry light.
Press the new door-entry light firmly into place.

Do I need to replace batteries or charge the projector?
No. These projectors replace the factory door-entry light and use that light's existing power supply, so there are no batteries to charge or replace.
How sharp is the logo on the ground?
When you open the door, an LED projects the logo through a lens onto the ground. How large and sharp the logo looks depends on the height of your door and the ground surface.
How do I install these door lights? Do I need technical skills?
On vehicles with a compatible factory door-entry light, installation is plug & play: remove the original light with the included tool, connect the projector to the existing connector and press it into place. No drilling or cutting of wires. A removal tool and an installation manual are included. Check your doors before ordering: model and year alone do not guarantee a fit.
Will I get an error message on my dashboard?
No. The projectors are CAN-bus compatible, so you will never get a message on your dashboard. Questions about your car?

What if the projector breaks unexpectedly?
Under Dutch law you are entitled to a product that works as you may reasonably expect (the statutory guarantee, also called conformity). It has no fixed end date: how long it applies depends on the kind of product, its price and what was promised. If a problem appears within one year of delivery, we must prove that it was caused by misuse; after that year, you must show that you used the product normally. If a product is defective, not as described or the wrong item was delivered, we solve it free of charge within a reasonable time, including return shipping. RD Customz does not offer a separate commercial warranty; your statutory rights always apply.

What if I ordered the wrong one or change my mind?
Changed your mind? You can return a product within 30 days after you receive it. This is our voluntary return period. It includes your statutory 14-day right of withdrawal, which is not affected.
How: Email info@rdcustomz.nl or send a WhatsApp message to +31 6 87044577 with your order number and the item(s) you want to return. You may use the model withdrawal form in our Refund policy, but you don't have to. After you notify us, we email you the return address and instructions.
Condition: You may handle the product the way you would in a shop to check it. Please send it back complete and, if possible, in its original packaging. If the product shows more handling or use than needed to check it (for example signs of installation), we may deduct the resulting loss in value from your refund.
Return costs: for a change-of-mind return you pay the cost of sending the product back. If the product is defective, not as described, or we sent the wrong item, the return costs you nothing.
Refund: within 14 days after you tell us you are returning the product, to your original payment method. If you return the whole order within the statutory 14 days, we also refund the standard delivery costs. We may wait with the refund until we have received the product or you have shown that you sent it.
When will I receive my door lights?
Dispatch: we dispatch orders within 24 hours (Saturdays, Sundays and Dutch public holidays excluded).
Carriers: PostNL and DHL eCommerce. When your order ships, you receive an email with a tracking link. Delivery time after dispatch depends on the carrier and destination.
