Volvo V40 door-entry lights
LED door-entry lights with the Volvo logo for the V40 hatchback (2012–2019) and the V40 Cross Country. There is one condition: your car must have a factory door-entry light at the bottom of the door, because our projector takes the place of that lamp, plug & play. Without that lamp there is no connector and the set does not fit.

What your car needs
The projector clicks into the existing courtesy lamp at the bottom of your door. If your car has no lamp there from the factory, there is no connector to plug into. Our set is plug & play and CAN-bus proof, so you will not get a warning on the dashboard.
Quick check: open the door in the dark. If a light at the bottom of the door panel lights up the ground, the set fits. We do not supply wiring kits for doors without a lamp.

2 or 4 lights?
Set of 2 = front doors, set of 4 = all four. Check in the door panels which doors have a lamp: choose the set of 4 only if the rear doors have one too.
Frequently asked questions
Does every Volvo V40 have a door-entry light?

Will I get a warning on the dashboard?
No. The projector plugs into the existing connector of the factory lamp and is CAN-bus proof, so the car does not report a fault.
And the older V40 estate from the late 1990s?
