BMW iX door-entry lights
BMW supplies its own door projectors in two sizes, 50 mm and 68 mm. In the BMW dealer listings we checked, the iX is named for neither size: the 50 mm list covers a few recent models of the 1, 2, 3 and 4 Series and the Z4, the 68 mm list the 1 to 8 Series and X1 to X6. So the factory lamp decides: if your iX has a courtesy lamp at the bottom of the door from the factory, enter iX and the year when you order and we send the right version. Without that lamp there is no connector to plug into, and the set does not fit.

What your car needs
The projector clicks into the existing courtesy lamp at the bottom of your door. If your car has no lamp there from the factory, there is no connector to plug into. Our set is plug & play and CAN-bus proof, so you will not get a warning on the dashboard.
Note: the BMW dealer lists we checked do not name the iX, so the factory lamp in your door is what counts. Look at the bottom of your door panel before you order.

2 or 4 lights?
Set of 2 = front doors, set of 4 = all four. On an iX, check whether the rear doors also have a lamp at the bottom from the factory; if so, you can choose the set of 4.
Frequently asked questions
Is the iX on BMW's projector lists?
Not in the BMW dealer listings we checked. The 50 mm list covers a few recent models of the 1, 2, 3 and 4 Series and the Z4; the 68 mm list names the 1 to 8 Series and X1 to X6. The iX is named in neither.
Can I still order a set for my iX?
Yes, if there is a courtesy lamp at the bottom of the door panel from the factory. Just enter iX and its year when you order and we send the right version. Without a factory lamp there is no connector and the set does not fit: we do not supply wiring kits. If in doubt, you can always send us a photo through the contact page.
What is SA 564?
The dealer calls it Innenlichtpaket, the interior light package, and writes that on some cars it is mandatory for the projector. It does not say on which models.
Which logo does the projector show?
The genuine BMW projectors come with the BMW logo and separate slides with the BMW M logo. With our set you choose one of 14 projection styles when you order.
