BMW 6 Series door-entry lights
BMW supplies its own door projectors in two sizes, 50 mm and 68 mm. A BMW dealer lists the 50 mm version only for a few recent models of the 1, 2, 3 and 4 Series and the Z4; the 6 Series is not among them. The same dealer names the 6 Series in its 68 mm listing, without generation codes. You don't need to work out which size you have: enter your car model and year when you order and we send the right size. The Gran Coupé and the 6 Series Gran Turismo are not named separately. In every case the car must have door exit lights from the factory.

What your car needs
The projector clicks into the existing courtesy lamp at the bottom of your door. If your car has no lamp there from the factory, there is no connector to plug into. Our set is plug & play and CAN-bus proof, so you will not get a warning on the dashboard.
Note: not every 6 Series version has a courtesy lamp from the factory, so look at the bottom of your door panel before you order.

2 or 4 lights?
Set of 2 = front doors, set of 4 = all four. The Coupé and the Convertible have two doors, so the set of 2 is enough. On the Gran Coupé and the Gran Turismo, check whether the rear doors also have a lamp at the bottom from the factory; if so, you can choose the set of 4.
Frequently asked questions
Is the 6 Series on the 50 mm list?
No. The BMW dealer lists the 50 mm version for a few recent models of the 1, 2, 3 and 4 Series and the Z4. The 6 Series only appears in its 68 mm listing, without generation codes. You don't need to work out which size you have: enter your car model and year when you order and we send the right size.
Does every 6 Series have door exit lights?
No. The BMW dealer writes that fitting is only possible in cars that have door exit lights as standard, and that on some cars the interior light package (SA 564) is mandatory. So check the bottom of your door panel first.
What about the 6 Series Gran Turismo and the Gran Coupé?
The dealer's lists do not name the Gran Turismo (G32) or the Gran Coupé (F06) separately. If there is a lamp at the bottom of the door panel from the factory, we send the right size based on your model and year; if in doubt, you can always send us a photo through the contact page.
Which logo does the projector show?
The genuine BMW projectors come with the BMW logo and separate slides with the BMW M logo. With our set you choose one of 14 projection styles when you order.
